On May 20, 2025, IASO Bio's Global Research and Development Center in the Waigaoqiao Bonded Area, Shanghai, was officially launched.

Shanghai Waigaoqiao Bonded Area is known as "The Place Closest to the World"Known as the first batch of pilot areas in China that allow foreign investment in stem cell and gene therapy technology research and development as well as product manufacturing, it provides comprehensive policy support for the cell and gene industry, including bonded R&D, bonded production, customs facilitation, clinical trials, and more."IASO Bio Global R&D Center, with a construction area of approximately 30,000 square meters, will leverage the unique policy advantages of the Waigaoqiao Bonded Area to establish cutting-edge cell and gene therapy technologies.In the future, the center will strengthen the synergistic effect with the headquarters of Nanjing IASO Biotherapeutics Co., Ltd., and radiate to the global market, accelerating the in-depth development of international business.

IASO Bio, established in 2017, is a leading biopharmaceutical company focusing on the research, production, and sales of innovative cell therapies. At the same time, CT120, a dual-target (CD19/CD22) product for lymphoma, is about to enter Phase II clinical trials. Another product targeting GPRC5D for the treatment of relapsed and refractory multiple myeloma, IASO118, has received IND approval in China. In addition to cell therapy products, the company's fully human anti-CD19 antibody product, IASO-782, has obtained IND approval for the treatment of multiple autoimmune diseases in both China and the United States, while still exploring more indications for autoimmune diseases. The company has successively reached global commercial expansion licensing or research and development cooperation agreements with overseas cell therapy companies Sana Therapeutics, Cabaletta Bio, and Umoja Biopharma, actively exploring the development of next-generation cell therapy products.
