2025 American Society of Clinical Oncology(ASCO 2025)The annual meeting was held in Chicago, USA, from May 30 to June 3 local time. Beijing Qinghui Lianuo Biotechnology Co., Ltd.(hereinafter referred to as "Qinghui Lianuo")Announce itsSubmitted Allogeneic Universal B7 H3 CAR-γδ T Cell Drug QH104 for the Treatment of Leptomeningeal Metastases in Solid Tumors(Leptomeningeal Metastasis, LM)The abstract of the early clinical study has been successfully selected for the ASCO 2025 Annual Meeting and will be presented in detail in a poster format. Specific information is as follows:
Title:Targeting cancer leptomeningeal metastasis with allogeneic chimeric antigen receptor γδ T-cell therapy.
Abstract Number:2533
Poster Number:180
Principal Investigator:Professor Li Ning, Cancer Hospital, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences
This study is an open-label, single-arm clinical trial.(NCT06592092), aimed to evaluate the targeted B7 H3 allogeneic CAR-γδ T cell drug(QH104)Safety and efficacy in LM patients derived from B7 H3-positive solid tumors. The results showed that two LM patients with previously treated failed lung adenocarcinoma achieved good safety after a single intrathecal infusion of QH104, and both reached stable disease at the evaluation on Day 30.(SD), accompanied by cerebrospinal fluid(CSF)A significant reduction or disappearance of tumor cells and continuous improvement of clinical symptoms. This study preliminarily demonstrates the safety and efficacy of QH104 in LM patient population.
About Leptomeningeal Metastases
Leptomeningeal metastasis is a late-stage solid tumor(such as lung cancer, breast cancer, etc.)The severe complication occurs at a rate of approximately 1-10%. Patients often experience rapid onset of severe headache, nausea and vomiting, neurological dysfunction, and other symptoms due to a sharp increase in intracranial pressure. The prognosis is extremely poor, with a median survival time of only a few weeks to months. Currently, there are no effective therapies specifically approved for LM worldwide, representing a significant unmet clinical need.
About QH104
QH104 is the world's first universal allogeneic CAR γδ T cell therapy targeting B7 H3. B7 H3 is a protein expressed in a variety of solid tumors.(Including lung cancer, breast cancer, brain tumors, etc.)And its metastases(Such as LM)Widely highly expressed pan-tumor antigen in China. Combined with the innate tumor-homing capability of γδ T cells.(Especially for the central nervous system)And the potential for allogeneic universal use, administered intrathecally(Directly injected into the cerebrospinal fluid)Precision Delivery: QH104 Provides an Innovative Solution to Break Through the Blood-Brain Barrier Limitation and Directly Target LM Lesions, Offering Hope to Fill the Treatment Gap for This Fatal Complication. Previously, this product has received FDA clinical trial approval for high-grade gliomas. As clinical research advances, QH104 is expected to demonstrate its therapeutic potential in more types of solid tumors.
