I have visited many pharmaceutical companies before, but this trip to Qilu left a deep impression and was quite shocking. In the past, most of what I saw in pharmaceutical companies were production processes, but this time I could see the entire process from R&D to production to packaging, and feel the technological strength of Qilu. It felt like Qilu’s production park was a factory of the future. Especially during the visit, some data and practical applications stood out to me. For instance, Qilu has more than 5,200 scientific researchers, invests over 4 billion yuan annually in R&D, and spends nearly 20 million yuan on a single cell strain screening instrument. These figures reflect Qilu's efforts to produce safe and accessible medicines for the country and its people. The second feeling is pride. Through our media coverage this time, everyone can see that in the pharmaceutical sector, domestic companies represented by Qilu Pharmaceutical are demystifying European and American products through innovation. Our level of innovation and quality is actually very high, and in some aspects, we are even leading the world. The third point is that since 1981, starting from a local veterinary drug factory, Qilu has become a leading pharmaceutical enterprise in China and ranked third among the top 100 pharmaceutical companies in China. What impressed me deeply was the efforts and persistence of the two former plant managers, the company’s original intention to make good medicine with sincerity, and its contribution to the industry.

This is my first visit to Qilu Pharmaceutical. I have been to many pharmaceutical companies before, and I feel that Qilu is a company that integrates tradition and innovation quite well. What impressed me most was the biosimilar production line. We know that the R&D and production of biosimilars are quite challenging, but Qilu Pharmaceutical's products are exported to many countries in Europe and America, and the quality is excellent. There is a notion that generic drugs are inferior to original drugs, but today’s visit has updated our concepts and ideas. In fact, from a technical perspective, our generic drugs have reached the top international level and are already consistent with the original drugs. Colleagues maintain harmonious relationships, and employees express high levels of happiness, which fosters better product development to benefit more people. What left the deepest impression on me was the human body chart in the exhibition hall—I realized that Qilu produces so many drugs related to various organs of the human body. As we all know, drug research and development takes a very long time—anywhere from six to seven years, or even a decade or longer. The fact that Qilu has developed so many products demonstrates not only unwavering perseverance but also the dedication of significant manpower, material resources, and other assets. This is truly admirable and deeply moving.
