This new system, deployed in Wa'ad Al-Shamal Industrial City in western Saudi Arabia, is the world's first commercially applied iron/vanadium redox flow battery solar backup power system for gas wells. With a renewable energy storage capacity of 1 megawatt-hour, it is specifically designed for high-temperature off-grid environments, offering key advantages in desert operations. Rongke Energy Storage is a global leader in vanadium redox flow battery energy storage systems, having implemented numerous projects in areas such as grid peak shaving, renewable energy integration, and industrial/commercial microgrids. Its products have been widely used both within China and overseas in regions like the U.S., Australia, and Germany.

Recently, TowardPi Medical officially announced the partnership with bon Optic, marking its official entry into the German market. Established in 1982 and headquartered in Lübeck, Germany, bon Optic is ISO 13485 certified and distributes a wide range of international ophthalmic brands.

The addition of Bon Optic makes it the third distributor with experience in a thousand OCT installations for TowardPi in the EU market, following Italy and France. As leading distributors from the UK, France, Italy, Spain, Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, Poland, Czech Republic, Turkey, Netherlands, and Sweden have successively joined TowardPi, this important piece of the German market represents that TowardPi Medical's channel layout for the European market is now basically complete.

On May 27, Pony.ai announced a strategic partnership with the Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) to deploy a Robotaxi fleet in the region. Surgical removal of renal cell carcinoma with inferior vena cava tumor thrombus is one of the most challenging procedures recognized in the field of urology. Due to the complex anatomical relationships and numerous blood vessels surrounding the inferior vena cava, the surgery requires temporary occlusion of the inferior vena cava and renal vessels, demanding extraction of the tumor thrombus and suturing of the venotomy within an extremely short timeframe. This procedure places high demands on both equipment and the surgeon’s technical expertise.
