More than 200 attendees, including leaders from the Songjiang District Government, representatives from the China Enterprise Confederation, experts from the Chinese Society of Toxicology, and partners from the biopharmaceutical industry, attended the event to jointly witness the opening of BioVision (Songjiang) Global R&D Transformation and Production Base and the launch of the first-phase commercial production base for HuaDao CAR-Tcell (Shanghai Songjiang).

Zhang Junzheng, Chairman and General Manager of NeoKym Group, introduced that the Songjiang base, completed after five years of construction, is not only an important hub in NeoKym's global R&D network but also a transformation accelerator connecting innovation sources with industrial applications. The operation of the base marks NeoKym's entry into a new phase of its "fine chemical + precision medicine" dual-platform development strategy. It aims to become a precision medicine industry incubation platform covering the Yangtze River Delta region and a globally leading biopharmaceutical R&D transformation center, helping partners avoid unnecessary detours and hardships in their entrepreneurial journey.

HuaDao CAR-Tcell Chairman and General Manager Yu Xuejun stated: "HuaDao CAR-Tcell has always adhered to a full industrial chain independent innovation strategy, achieving comprehensive breakthroughs in localization from core raw materials to production equipment, which allows us to reduce cell therapy drugs from the million-yuan level to 200,000 yuan. The launch of the first-phase commercial production base for CAR-T cells (in Songjiang, Shanghai) today marks another steady and crucial step toward our vision of making cell therapy drugs affordable and accessible to ordinary people." He introduced that Building 2 of the base, spanning 15,000 square meters, will be entirely dedicated to constructing 360 fully automatic, fully enclosed cell production lines (with complete self-control over key equipment, core consumables, and production processes), with an annual planned capacity of 10,000 CAR-T cell treatments. He emphasized that the construction project for the headquarters of cell drug industry equipment and supporting consumables production will prioritize providing fully localized equipment and consumables (pharmaceutical packaging materials) to HuaDao CAR-Tcell's five major production bases across China. He expressed gratitude to the Jin Dong District Government of Jinhua for their trust and support, adding a critical and significant component to HuaDao CAR-Tcell's "Shanghai R&D, nationwide manufacturing" industrial layout, contributing to the "higher-quality integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta G60 Science and Technology Innovation Corridor."

The grand opening of the New Opening (Songjiang) Global R&D Transformation and Production Base is not only another significant milestone in the development history of the New Opening Group, but also a crucial node for the commercial expansion of HuaDao CAR-Tcell's first cell drug. Particularly, the strategic signing for the construction of the supporting industrial equipment and consumables production headquarters (Jinhua) base will add tremendous momentum to the development of HuaDao's accessible cell drugs. Let us jointly look forward to the early market launch of "cell drugs that are affordable and accessible to the common people" to serve patients.
