In June 2025, Beijing Kerui Biological Technology Co., Ltd. appointed Dr. Zhaoyonghong as Vice President of R&D, reporting directly to Dr. Xie Xingwang, CEO of Kerui Bio. Dr. Zhaoyonghong will take full responsibility for Kerui Bio's drug discovery and preclinical research, providing professional support for the global clinical development of related drugs.

Dr. Yonghong Zhao has over 20 years of practical experience in the research and development of antibody drugs and cell therapy products, covering the entire process of drug discovery and early development. This includes key steps such as target validation, antibody screening and optimization, candidate drug molecule selection, early CMC development, and preclinical studies. Dr. Zhao has led or participated in more than 30 innovative drug development projects at Johnson & Johnson (J&J) and several innovative companies, six of which have successfully reached the market. Examples include Teclistamab (targeting BCMA) and Talquetamab (targeting GPRC5D), both T-cell Engager products for the treatment of multiple myeloma. Additionally, he has led the discovery and preclinical research of several solid tumor therapeutics, such as the TCE (JNJ-78278343) and CAR-T (JNJ-75229414) targeting KLK2 for the treatment of advanced prostate cancer, both of which are currently in clinical trials.
