On July 21, VIVAVISION announced that it had recently succeededCompletion of the D2+ Round Financing Closing Exceeding RMB 100 MillionThis round of financing was led by Wenzhou Ouhai Xiangtou Yicun Equity Investment Partnership (Limited Partnership), with new investors such as Yueke Financial, Renze Zhenhe, and others following the investment. Existing shareholders Longpan Investment and Yicun Capital continued to increase their support.

VIVAVISION was founded in 2016 and is aFocus on the Field of Ophthalmic TreatmentClinical-stage innovative drug company. The founder and CEO of the company isDr. Shen Wang, he once worked at Abbott Laboratories(Abbott), Suni's(Sunesis)、Amgen(Amgen), Kangyuan Pharmaceutical and other positions, with nearly 20 years of R&D and management experience in the fields of anti-tumor, immune system regulation, metabolic diseases, and antiviral.

VIVAVISION has now developed multiple pipelines. Among them, the core pipeline has currently entered the middle-to-late stages of clinical trials and has achieved several recent advancements, including:

  • VVN461LD Receives Positive Initial Written Feedback from FDA,Only a single pivotal Phase III clinical study for post-operative ocular inflammation is required to file an NDA.

  • VVN461HD InIncluded in the "Breakthrough Therapy List" by China NMPA, with the indication forNon-infectious Anterior Uveitis(NIAU)

  • VVN001, as a domestically produced new-generation dry eye drop in China, is currently undergoing Phase III clinical trials;

  • VVN1901 for the treatment of neurotrophic keratitis has also successfully enrolled the first patient in a Phase II clinical trial recently, officially entering the pivotal clinical stage.

The proceeds from this D2+ round will be mainly used to accelerate the progress of late-stage clinical trials for several core pipelines of VIVAVISION, support the R&D work of preclinical pipelines, and expand and upgrade the technological innovation platform to continuously enhance R&D efficiency and capabilities.
