Beijing Lingxin Borui Biotechnology Co., Ltd. (referred to as "Lingxin Borui") announced the completion of its A+ round of financing. This A+ round of financing will mainly be used for the improvement of Lingxin Borui's technology research and development platform, team expansion, and the advancement of preclinical research.

 

Beijing Lingxin Borui Biotechnology Co., Ltd. was established in 2022 as an innovative enterprise focused on the application and development of chemical conjugation cell technology. Committed to advancing the use of innovative chemical conjugation cell technology in the treatment of various diseases, the company is actively building a conjugation technology platform, a cell culture platform, and an innovative target development platform. Through efficient, safe, and process-friendly conjugation solutions, Lingxin Borui aims to achieve precise conjugation between peptides, antibodies, and cells, providing new solutions for disease treatment.

 

The founding team of the company consists of experts from renowned universities in China and seasoned professionals in the industry. The R&D team members have years of in-depth experience in their respective fields. Through efficient, safe, and process-friendly conjugation solutions, the company achieves covalent conjugation between peptides, antibodies, and cells. The company will focus on urgently needed pipelines in the fields of oncology and immune system diseases, committing to innovative R&D efforts to reduce costs for patients and medical insurance, improve treatment outcomes, and enhance patients' quality of life. At the same time, the company will accelerate industrial transformation and actively expand global technical collaborations to bring its technologies and products to benefit patients worldwide.

 

After initial exploration and optimization, the company has fully mastered large-scale suspension culture and production methods for immune cells such as γδT and NK cells, achieving an expansion factor of over 5000 times with a purity of more than 95%. Currently, our company has reached a strategic cooperation agreement with Heyuan Biotechnology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. Relying on Heyuan Biotechnology's mature cell culture platform technology, we plan to build a production workshop capable of producing 10,000 batches per year, realizing the highly efficient expansion of γδT cells with an expansion factor >5000 times and purity >95%.

 

Our company is a leader in the field of chemical conjugation of cells and antibodies, holding multiple international patents. Our main approach involves using sugars on the cell surface as reactive handles and employing bioorthogonal reactions (a technology awarded the 2022 Nobel Prize in Chemistry) as the conjugation strategy to efficiently, rapidly, and safely introduce large biomolecules such as antibodies onto the cell surface. Our conjugation strategy is modular, easy to operate, cost-effective, and aligns with the future direction of cell therapy.

 

The company has created a rapid high-throughput nanobody preparation platform based on the advantages of nanobodies and established a one-stop functional antibody screening method. This allows for obtaining pharmaceutical-grade antibodies directly during the antibody screening stage, reducing the preparation cycle for pharmaceutical-grade antibodies to 3-6 months, which greatly accelerates the development speed of new products. The founding team has currently developed more than a dozen tumor-related nanobodies, including PD1, PDL1, EGFR, EGFRvIII, ENPP3, EDB, Her2, CD3, CD7, CD47, CD147, GPCR, FLT4, LIFR, and Claudin18.2, and has applied for and been granted 12 nanobody patents.
