According to the SPL, Anocca AB has obtained non-exclusive research, clinical, and commercial usage rights to utilize MaxCyte's Flow Electroporation® technology and ExPERT™ platform; MaxCyte is entitled to receive annual licensing fees and milestone and/or sales-based revenues associated with the project.
MaxCyte President and CEO Maher Masoud stated: "We are extremely honored to collaborate with Anocca to advance its TCR-T therapy from clinical trials to application. Leveraging our globally supported and regulatory-approved ExPERT™ platform, along with our deep technical expertise, we will help Anocca accelerate clinical-grade production and cell engineering processes. The ExPERT™ platform offers excellent scalability and flexibility, providing high-performance non-viral gene editing solutions across Anocca’s diverse therapeutic pipeline."
Anocca AB's cell therapy manufacturing facility in Sweden has recently received GMP compliance certification and a manufacturing license from Swedish regulatory authorities. Its core project targeting KRAS mutation-driven advanced pancreatic cancer has entered the clinical development stage. By incorporating MaxCyte's ExPERT™ platform, Anocca will gain access to a high-quality, scalable technology platform, further enhancing its capability to deliver gene-edited cell therapies.
