On August 13, Synlumin Conuninex (Shanghai) Enterprise Development Co., Ltd., a producer of hyperspectral imaging products, secured 400 million yuan in its Series A round of financing. The round was led by its angel investor Shanghai United Investment, with participation from Fuhua Technology, Gaoyuan Capital, and other local state-owned enterprises and funds. Founding shareholder Gaowei Technology, along with existing investors Guanghe Hao and Weber Investment, among others, continued to increase their stakes. The proceeds from this round will primarily be used for research and development as well as productization in the fields of communications and optical processing.


Ophthalmic Medical Device Developer Iantrek Secures $42 Million in Series C Funding

On August 20, ophthalmic medical device developer Iantrek secured $42 million in Series C funding, led by U.S. Venture Partners (USVP), with participation from aMoon Fund and follow-on investments from existing investors such as Visionary Ventures. The funds will primarily be used to launch AlloFlo™ Uveo in the U.S. market, a first-of-its-kind surgical solution targeting the uveoscleral pathway, while also driving broader product line expansion.

On August 20, Suzhou Yixi Biotechnology Co., Ltd., a solution provider in the field of gut microbiota, secured nearly 200 million yuan in its Series A round of financing. The round was led by Huangshan Industrial Investment Group, with participation from Huangshan Gongying Yixi Equity Investment Fund and social capital. The funds will primarily be used to support the construction of the world's largest HMOs monomer factory by Suzhou Yixi Biotechnology Co., Ltd.


Dr. Mayson Secures Nearly 200 Million RMB in Financing

On August 18, Dr. Mayson, a provider of medical artificial intelligence solutions, secured nearly 200 million RMB in funding, led by Shanghai Science and Technology Innovation Fund and CDH Investments, with continued support from Qiming Venture Partners and participation from Changning Capital through its Hongqiao Ruizhi Investment Platform. The company focuses on applying AI technology to address clinical pain points, and its AI product portfolio has covered over 1,200 tiered hospitals, more than 70% of which are tertiary hospitals.


Insulin Patch Pump Developer Luna Diabetes Secures $23.6 Million in Series A Funding

On August 19, Luna Diabetes, a developer of insulin patch pumps, secured $23.6 million in Series A funding led by Vensana Capital, with participation from the Swiss Diabetes Risk Investment Fund, Ascensia Diabetes Care, and others.
