Plexium, a Rising Star in Protein Degradation, Completes Approximately $60.1 Million in New Round of Financing, Adding Three More Years of Momentum to the Molecular Glue Pioneer. This year, the company announced Phase 1 clinical data for its oral molecular glue candidate PLX-4545: in healthy subjects, the drug not only demonstrated acceptable safety but also reprogrammed regulatory T cells. This investigational drug is an antisense oligonucleotide (ASO) targeting Alagille Syndrome (ALGS), a rare genetic disorder that can affect the heart, liver, and vascular system and may be life-threatening. ART4 has received both Orphan Drug Designation and Rare Pediatric Disease Designation from the FDA, establishing a critical foundation for subsequent clinical development.

Boston-based programmable mRNA pioneer Strand Therapeutics announced the completion of a $153 million Series B financing round, which will be used to comprehensively accelerate pipeline advancement. The core project, STX-001, is the world's first programmable IL-12 mRNA therapy to enter clinical trials, capable of expressing interleukin-12 (IL-12) in situ within the tumor microenvironment, with a Phase 1/2 clinical trial launched last year.

The company plans to use part of the funds to promote the commercial launch of its core product MH004 in China. MH004 is a topical pan-JAK inhibitor cream that has entered Phase III clinical trials. Meanwhile, Minghui will also accelerate multiple clinical pipelines: PD-1/VEGF bispecific antibody MHB039A and TROP-2 ADC MHB036C are currently being studied for their combined treatment of non-small cell lung cancer.
