PharmaCircleLearned: Recently, BioMab (Suzhou) Biopharmaceutical Co., Ltd. ("BioMab") from Suzhou, Jiangsu, and Qilu Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. ("Qilu Pharmaceutical") have officially reached a project cooperation agreement on BioMab's self-developed metal embolic microsphere BM601 product for TACE treatment of liver cancer.

According to the terms of this BD&L agreement, Biomay Biotechnology will receiveTotal amount exceeds 200 million RMBMilestone payments, additional sales royalties, and overseas revenue sharing.

The cooperative project BM601 this time is a Class III medical device product independently developed by BioMind based on the original technology of Professor Liu Zhuang's team from Soochow University. It has independent intellectual property rights, and its unique mechanism of action can significantly enhance the therapeutic effect of transarterial chemoembolization (TACE). In early clinical studies targeting patients with unresectable primary liver cancer, it demonstrated significant clinical advantages and is expected to bring more effective treatment options for patients with intermediate to advanced liver cancer.
