"Duo Dian Yun" Raises Tens of Millions Yuan in Series A

According to 36Kr.com, "Duo Dian Yun", a service platform for dentists, has completed its Series A financing of tens of millions yuan, led by Gem Flower Healthcare. Proceeds will be used to upgrade the company’s software and hardware devices, improve services and expand the business.

Established in February 2017, Beijing Haoyun Technology Co., Ltd., has set up the platform "Duo Dian Yun" for dentists to work out of hospitals, which acts as an operation manager providing support for dentists and dental clinics. It rents dental chairs in dental clinics, provides online and offline services, and gives reasonable commission to dentists in public hospitals. Through the mode of "taking patients with patients", the platform can increase the number of visits. Besides, "Duo Dian Yun" has also provided classes teaching by famous dentists to improve the medical skills of dentists on the platform.

Up to now, "Duo Dian Yun" mainly provides services in Beijing and plans to complete the expansion of major first-tier and second-tier cities in the next 1-2 years. At present, the platform has more than 1,000 registered doctors, among which about 50% have actually started practicing.

By cooperating with private dental clinics, "Duo Dian Yun" integrates their consulting room and equipment resources, enabling dentists to make appointments online and then carry out clinical practice in those clinics. Before the arrival of the dentist, the medical assistant will prepare the devices, instruments, and consumables to ensure a good experience of practice. "Duo Dian Yun" also provides dentists with patient management, commission management, and other services.
