On September 29, the National Medical Products Administration officially approved the registration and market launch of the world's first cross-linked polyisobutylene aspheric intraocular lens independently developed by Eyedeal Medical Technology Company Limited. This milestone breakthrough not only marks China’s full independent control in the ophthalmic implant device field from "material source" to "clinical application," but also vividly illustrates the development concept of Xi’an High-tech Zone: "promoting innovation through recruitment, strengthening industry through cultivation." With a high refractive index of 1.52 and an Abbe number of 50, combined with a 6.5mm large optical surface design, it can be implanted through a ≤2.0mm micro-incision, providing cataract patients with clearer and safer visual experiences.
