Recently, Beijing Mabworks Biotechnology Co., Ltd. announced that the New Drug Application (NDA) for MIL62, its self-developed innovative third-generation CD20 antibody for the treatment of Primary Membranous Nephropathy (PMN), has been accepted by the National Medical Products Administration, becoming the world's first NDA-submitted drug targeting PMN treatment.


As of now, no specific drug for the treatment of PMN has been approved by pharmaceutical regulatory agencies worldwide, with multiple innovative drugs currently in clinical trial development. The Phase III clinical trial of Beijing Mabworks Biotechnology Co., Ltd's MIL62 for PMN completed its primary endpoint analysis in July 2025. This clinical trial is the world’s first registrational study on PMN to reach its clinical endpoint, providing prospective randomized controlled evidence-based clinical data for global PMN clinical practice.

Xinkanghe: Announces XKH001 at ERS 2025‍XKH001

Recently, Xinkanghe Biopharmaceuticals, an innovative immunology drug development company, presented the Phase Ic clinical research results of XKH001, the world's first (First in Class) anti-IL-25 monoclonal antibody, in a poster session at the European Respiratory Society Annual Congress 2025 (ERS 2025).

This is an open-label, single-arm, Phase Ic clinical trial that enrolled 12 patients with mild allergic asthma. Subjects underwent methacholine challenge tests and received subcutaneous injections of XKH001 every four weeks. The results showed that in allergic asthma patients with moderate to severe baseline airway hyperresponsiveness (AHR) induced by methacholine, XKH001 treatment increased PD20-FEV1. This study provides the first clinical evidence supporting IL-25 as a therapeutic target for patients with moderate to severe asthma.

XKH001 is the world's first drug targeting IL-25 to enter clinical trials (approved by both the US FDA and China NMPA), while other similar drugs globally are still in the preclinical research stage. Compared with traditional surgery, this world-first product utilizes advanced digital intelligence algorithms (capable of rapidly planning reduction paths within three minutes); a robust robotic arm with a load capacity of 160N (precise, smooth, and consistent operation under heavy loads), enabling full robotic participation and automatic achievement of sub-millimeter precision in closed reduction. It achieves a 100% success rate and over 95% excellent/good rate in closed reduction, with position accuracy less than 1.0mm and angular accuracy less than 1°. The product reduces surgical risks, shortens recovery and hospitalization time, while also decreasing radiation exposure for both patients and medical staff. Additionally, it offers significant advantages for elderly patients with pelvic fractures, having successfully performed minimally invasive robotic reduction treatments on multiple patients aged over 80 (the oldest being 92 years), overcoming clinical challenges in minimally invasive treatment for elderly pelvic fracture patients. Moreover, the product demonstrates excellent clinical efficacy for critically ill patients, having successfully conducted minimally invasive robotic reduction treatments on more than ten patients with severe multiple pelvic injuries, effectively enhancing emergency MDT treatment capabilities.

Henlius: The World's First H Drug for Perioperative Gastric Cancer

Recently, Henlius (2629.HK) announced that its self-developed innovative PD-1 inhibitor H drug Hansizhuang® (Sulrilizumab, European trade name: Hetronifly)®) The interim analysis of the Phase III clinical study (ASTRUM-006) for neoadjuvant combination chemotherapy/adjuvant monotherapy in gastric cancer has reached the primary endpoint of Event-Free Survival (EFS). This becomes the world's first perioperative (preoperative/postoperative) treatment regimen in gastric cancer to replace postoperative adjuvant chemotherapy with immunotherapy alone, achieving a significant breakthrough in this field.


ASTRUM-006 is a randomized, double-blind, multi-center Phase III clinical study targeting patients with early-stage gastric cancer. It aims to evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety of Hansizhuang® combined with chemotherapy compared to placebo combined with chemotherapy as neoadjuvant/monotherapy adjuvant treatment for early-stage gastric cancer patients. According to the interim analysis results from the Independent Data Monitoring Committee (IDMC), the study met the pre-specified superiority criteria. Compared to placebo combined with chemotherapy, Hansizhuang® combined with chemotherapy significantly improved EFS, with the pathological complete response (pCR) rate being more than three times that of the control group, and the risk of recurrence was significantly reduced in patients. Meanwhile, this treatment regimen demonstrated good safety, with no new safety signals identified. Based on these positive results, it is recommended to file for marketing authorization ahead of schedule.
