PharmaCircleMonitoring Shows: Recently, HuaDao CAR-Tcell (Shanghai) Biomedical Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "HuaDao Biomedical") successfully completed a D+2 round of financing exceeding 100 million yuan. This round of financing was led by Bo'ai New Open Source (300109.sz), with participation from Jinghu Capital, Wuhan He'er, Zhejiang Shenchang, Ningbo Zibei, and other institutions and investors. The funds will mainly be used to accelerate the research, development, and industrialization process of affordable cell drugs, further promoting the construction of HuaDao Biomedical's first intelligent manufacturing industrialization base for CAR-T cell drugs in Shanghai.Commercial Production Application Landing, to support the safety of China's biopharmaceutical industry chain and supply chain, achieving CAR-T cell drugs'Pricing Autonomy`, providing affordable and accessible CAR-T cell drugs for the general public.`

Yu Xuejun, Chairman and General Manager of HuaDao CAR-Tcell, stated: The biopharmaceutical industry is a strategic emerging industry related to the national economy, people's livelihood, and national security. Cell immunotherapy represented by Chimeric Antigen Receptor T-cell (CAR-T) has led cancer treatment into a new era (the third revolution in the history of cancer treatment). The research and development and industrialization of CAR-T cell drugs are led by China and the United States (each having seven approved drugs on the market), but the million-yuan price level clearly exceeds the out-of-pocket payment ability of Chinese patients and the coverage range of medical insurance reimbursement. Therefore, overcoming key bottleneck technologies, reducing the cost of cell product preparation and management operations, and making cell drugs accessible and affordable is a critical industrial technology bottleneck and commercialization challenge that Chinese CAR-T cell drug companies must address. We sincerely thank all partners for their trust in HuaDao CAR-Tcell’s persistent efforts toward an accessible cell drug platform technology. Let us look forward to the unmanned intelligent production management system to be showcased in the first phase of the intelligent manufacturing industrialization base (Shanghai) construction project for HuaDao CAR-Tcell’s CAR-T cell drugs, which will revolutionarily disrupt the manufacturing costs of personalized CAR-T cell drugs and fulfill the historical mission of innovation-driven development in the biopharmaceutical industry to achieve people’s health and happiness. We also sincerely invite more partners to follow the company’s subsequent pre-IPO financing round and participate in promoting "China-made alternatives, accessibility, and affordability."HuaDao CAR-Tcell Bravely Ventures into the STAR Market, jointly build a universal cell drug industry with Chinese characteristics that benefits people around the world.
