Dongmai Medical Completes ￥10M Angel Round of financing

According to VCBeat, recently, Dongmai Medical Technology (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. ("Dongmai Medical"), a research platform of medical device compliance, announced it raised nearly 10 million yuan in the angel round financing from Suzhou Gaoxin Fengqiao Emerging Industry Investment. 

Proceeds from the latest round will be mainly used for the construction of the first-phase project of the medical device compliance research center (including the testing laboratory, the benchmarking GMP workshop, and the medical device sample production line) and the marketing.

Founded in 2019, Dongmai Medical Is jointly established by the Suzhou Medical Device Research Institute of Southeast University and the leading team in the industry. It is located in Suzhou Life and Health Town, with a construction area of over 2500 square meters.

Dongmai Medical has developed the businesses of the design, development and engineering transformation for medical devices compliance, built two production lines of active medical devices and sterile medical devices. The company also established a benchmarking quality management system in accordance with ISO13485 standards. Besides, Dongmai Medical built a self-inspected platform in line with ISO/IEC17025 system, integrating elite teams in the fields of registration and clinical, providing one-stop services from R&D to mass production for medical device enterprises.

Compared with the existing CDMO platform on the market, Dongmai Medical's compliance research center is focused on active medical equipment and sterile medical supplies. Different from some platforms that focused on IVD, the medical compliance research center of Dongmai Medical is committed to reducing risks and costs for clients through compliance system management and compliant products.

The core team members of Dongmai Medical are engaged in the medical device industry with nearly 20 years of experience, who know well about the laws and regulations, standards, quality systems, registration, etc. Among them, Dr. Chen Tao, founder of Dongmai Medical, has rich experience in the medical device industry and is determined to serve for industrial innovation.
