With a total investment of approximately 200 million yuan, the project will construct a GMP-standard production base with a total area exceeding 10,000 square meters, strictly adhering to international GMP and AABB standards. It will have an integrated service capability for undertaking global innovative drug research, development, and production. As the first comprehensive platform among China’s 168 integrated bonded areas to focus on the entire chain of biologics innovation services, the project fully leverages the policy advantages of Nansha's "four-area overlap" as a National New Area, Pilot Free Trade Zone, Integrated Bonded Area, and Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Comprehensive Cooperation Demonstration Zone. With unique conditions in tax incentives and regulatory innovation, it will significantly accelerate the clinical transformation process of innovative drugs such as cell and gene therapies.

Currently, the project has reached strategic cooperation with multiple well-known pharmaceutical companies at home and abroad, including IASO Bio, to jointly advance the research and development and industrialization of innovative drugs such as cell and gene therapies, helping China's biopharmaceutical industry accelerate its integration into the global innovation network.
Moreover, this project is not only a technological and industrial engineering initiative but also carries significant social value. As an outstanding service enterprise in China that possesses the dual attributes of a technology company and a welfare enterprise, the CanFriend Group has always been committed to creating high-quality employment opportunities for people with disabilities. Upon completion of the project, it is expected to provide over 200 professional technical positions such as laboratory technicians and quality control within three years, effectively broadening the career development channels for disabled individuals in the high-tech industry. Chen Xuejun, Chairman of the Guangdong Disabled Persons' Federation, pointed out at the launch ceremony that this project is an important part of the biopharmaceutical industry layout and will achieve a "dual improvement" in both economic and social benefits.

In the future, Guangdong Canyou Comprehensive Biomedical Co., Ltd. will continue to focus on cutting-edge fields such as cell and gene therapy, deepen collaborative innovation both in China and internationally, promote the efficient transformation of scientific and technological achievements, and contribute to the development of the Greater Bay Area into a globally influential highland for the biomedical industry.
