With the support of two new policies, leading biopharmaceutical companies have completed production line upgrades and are manufacturing new products.

This product in front of us is the new intraocular lens recently approved by the National Medical Products Administration, developed by Century Healthcare. It is used for cataract surgery, offering a wider field of vision and achieving substitution with products made in China.

The new product process is more complex, and the old production line cannot meet the production demand. In order to capture the market in advance, with the special support for equipment updates from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and other departments, this year, the company invested more than 10 million yuan to upgrade the production line in advance, comprehensively upgrading machining lathes, testing equipment, etc. The company will also receive a subsidy from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology equivalent to 10% of the investment amount. Currently, more than 10 devices are running at full capacity, with over 60 people working intensively on-site, reaching a monthly production capacity of 20,000 units.
