On November 2, the 2025 National Medical Insurance Negotiation (hereinafter referred to as "National Negotiation") entered its fourth day.

At 2 PM, the negotiation for the commercial insurance innovative drug list officially began. The Economic Observer learned that Juventas' CAR-T drug negotiation was successful.

At around 3:15 PM, a three-person negotiation team from Juventas entered the venue. At approximately 3:35 PM, Lu Lulu, Chief Executive Officer of Juventas, led the negotiation team out of the negotiation room. When asked by a reporter from the Economic Observer about the negotiation outcome, Lu Lulu smiled and nodded, replying, "We’ve reached an agreement!"

Juventas' CAR-T drug was previously priced at 999,000 yuan per dose, making it the lowest-priced CAR-T drug in China.

Previously, several experts told the Economic Observer that five CAR-T drugs had passed the expert review stage prior to the national negotiations. CAR-T drugs are notorious for their "astronomical prices," with each injection costing around 1 million yuan. Even with various discounts, the price per injection remains approximately 500,000 yuan. In the past few years, CAR-T drugs have made multiple attempts to enter the National Reimbursement Drug List, all of which failed.
