On November 7, the Beijing Science and Technology Awards Conference was held. Yi Li, Secretary of the Beijing Municipal Committee of the CPC, presented awards to the representatives of the winning scientists. TowardPi's "Research and Industrialization of Ophthalmic High-Coherence Ultra-High-Speed Swept-Source OCT Imaging Equipment" project has won the Second Prize of Beijing Science and Technology Progress Award. Wang Xiao, the inventor of this technology, co-founder and technical director of TowardPi, received the award on behalf of one of the ten winners and gave an interview to the media.
