Recently, BrightGene announced that it plans to strategically invest in Suzhou Geek Gene Technology Co., Ltd. through an increase in capital.This move highlights the pharmaceutical company's strategic determination to deeply cultivate the frontier field of cell therapy and accelerate the layout of cutting-edge innovative therapies.

According to the announcement, BrightGene plans to invest 50 million yuan in Suzhou Geek Gene Technology Co., Ltd. Of this amount, 437,100 yuan will be allocated to subscribe for the newly increased registered capital of Geek Gene, with the remaining portion recorded as capital reserve fund. After the completion of this capital increase, BrightGene's shareholding in Geek Gene will increase from the original 4.0816% to 12.8015%.

Since its establishment in 2021, Suzhou Geek Gene Technology Co., Ltd. has relied on a high-throughput omics technology platform to focus on the development of innovative T-cell therapies for solid tumors. Its core team consists of scientific research talents from top universities such as Peking University and Harvard University, accumulating extensive experience in single-cell technology research and clinical applications. The company's first tumor-reactive T-cell therapeutic product under development is GK01.Has been approved in China to enter the clinical trial stage, with indications for advanced malignant solid tumors.
