According to the Zhicheng Finance APP, Laekna Therapeutics-B (02105) rose over 6%. As of press time, it increased by 4.92%, trading at HK$17.27, with a turnover of HK$32.1493 million.

On the news front, on November 12, Laekna Therapeutics announced that it has granted the rights to its breast cancer candidate new drug LAE002 (afuresertib) in China to Qilu Pharmaceutical, with a total agreement amount of up to 2.045 billion yuan. In addition to the upfront payment, Laekna Therapeutics will also receive tiered royalties of 10%-20% on sales, providing sufficient funding for its subsequent R&D. This deal is one of the larger licensing collaborations in China's biopharmaceuticals field this year.

It is reported that LAE002 is a potent AKT inhibitor. In the field of HR+/HER2- breast cancer indications, its global R&D progress ranks just behind Capivasertib from AstraZeneca. Industry insiders predict that the peak sales of LAE002 in the Chinese market could reach 2 billion yuan, while its global market performance may reference Capivasertib — the product’s sales this year are expected to reach 700-800 million US dollars, with a sales peak potentially breaking through 1-2 billion US dollars.
