On December 7, the 2025 Innovative Drug High-Quality Development Conference was held in Guangzhou. At the conference, the National Healthcare Security Administration released the 2025 "National Basic Medical Insurance, Maternity Insurance, and Work-related Injury Insurance Drug Directory" and the 2025 "Commercial Health Insurance Innovative Drug Directory," and introduced the adjustments for each directory.
According to the introduction, the "Commercial Health Insurance Innovative Drug List" focuses on including drugs with high clinical value, a high degree of innovation, and significant patient benefits, but which fall outside the scope of basic medical insurance. After undergoing processes such as voluntary application, expert review, commercial insurance expert re-review, evaluation, and price negotiation, 19 drugs from 18 innovative pharmaceutical companies were successfully included. These drugs cover treatment areas such as cancer, rare diseases, and chronic conditions, including 9 Category 1 new drugs.
From the perspective of therapeutic areas, these drugs cover multiple key fields including oncology, rare diseases, neurodegenerative diseases, and metabolic disorders. In terms of drug categories, the list includes advanced therapies such as CAR-T cell therapy, monoclonal antibodies, and small-molecule targeted drugs, among which nine are classified as Category 1 new drugs.
The five CAR-T products included in this directory are: Juventas' Naciorlumab Injection, IASO Bio's Equeorlumab Injection, Fosun Kite's Axicabtagene Ciloleucel Injection, JW Therapeutics' Relmacabtagene Autoleucel Injection, and Kexing Life Technology's Zevorcabtagene Autoleucel Injection.
The other 14 innovative drugs included in the catalog are: BMS's Ipilimumab Injection, Tianjin Hongri Jiandakang's Toluenesulfonamide Injection, Hutchison MediPharma's Tazemetostat Hydrobromide Tablets, Luye Pharma's Lurbinectedin for Injection, SciClone Pharmaceuticals' Naxitamab Injection, Shandong New Era Pharmaceutical's Sapropterin Dihydrochloride Tablets, Eisai's Lecanemab Injection, Eli Lilly's Donanemab Injection, BeiGene's Dato-Dxd Injection and Zenidatamab Injection, Takeda's Teduglutide for Injection, Pfizer's Enadenotucirev Injection, Janssen’s Teqturetumab Injection, and CANbridge’s Velaglucerase Alfa for Injection.
