Xbiome Completes ￥100M Series B Financing, Led by Legend Capital

According to Lieyunwang.com, Xbiome Co., Ltd. ("Xbiome") has completed its Series B financing of over 100 million yuan, led by Legend Capital, with participation from existing investors including Gaorong Capital, Morningside Venture Capital, and Yahui Investment. 

Since the announcement of the additional A round of financing in June 2019, Xbiome has customized and improved strain analysis algorithms of its AI-based platform such as Strainfinder and Panphlan, improving the sensitivity and accuracy of strain detection and analysis. 

The latest investment is the largest financing event so far in China's microbiome pharmaceutical industry. Proceeds will be used to further improve the preclinical platform of microbiome pharmacy and accelerate the clinical trials of drugs.

As the first AI-based microbiome drug development company in China, Xbiome is dedicated to gut microbiome using AI techniques and committed to the gut health of 1.3 billion people with precise and personalized management.
