Hualan Bio's Associate Company Receives IND Acceptance for Denosumab Injection

Gelonghui December 15 | Hualan Biological Engineering, Inc. announced that recently, its participating company, Hualan Genetic Engineering Co., Ltd., received the "Notice of Acceptance" for the application of the Marketing Authorization of Denosumab Injection for domestic production from the National Medical Products Administration. Denosumab Injection is a biosimilar, with its original product developed by Amgen and approved for marketing in many countries and regions worldwide. It is used to treat various skeletal diseases such as osteoporosis and giant cell tumor of bone. Denosumab works by specifically targeting the receptor activator of nuclear factor κB ligand (RANKL), effectively inhibiting osteoclast-mediated bone resorption and bone destruction, thereby preventing and delaying the occurrence of bone-related events.
