Aurora Closes ￥10M Seed Funding Round

("Aurora"), a SaaS platform for life science R&D companies, today announced that it has closed a seed funding round worth tens of millions, with participation from Lightspeed China Partners and Hancom Biotech Fund. Aurora was founded in August 2020. The founding team chose to focus on clinical research management and designed a future-oriented and flexible platform called Aurora Nexus.

Based on the comprehensive design and consideration in terms of how to achieve global compliance, local deployment, data storage with cross-border interconnection, and built a complete solution that complies with global standards and follows the localized data regulation.

Specifically, the joint deployment cloud allows different multicenter experimental data save in the local cloud in accordance with the laws and regulations. Wherever the user is, the platform can obtain and display the required data from the nearest deployment node, at the same time comply with national regulatory policy and synchronize the global data quickly under the premise of compliance.

According to Aurora, Aurora Nexus will be used by several leading pharmaceutical companies in clinical centers such as Beijing Cancer Hospital, Chang Gung Hospital, and Shanghai Ruijin Hospital after the Spring Festival.
