This round of financing was jointly invested by Shenzhen Future Xinzhi Technology Investment Partnership (Limited Partnership) (hereinafter referred to as "Future Xinzhi") and Harmony Beyond SME Development Fund (Yixing) Partnership (Limited Partnership). Since its establishment in 2023, Theia Therapeutics has consistently focused on blinding eye diseases, a significant global health challenge, embedding the "innovation gene" deeply within the company’s development ethos. Confronted with irreversible vision loss caused by conditions such as age-related macular degeneration, juvenile macular degeneration (Stargardt disease), high myopia, and corneal blindness, traditional therapies often only slow disease progression without achieving tissue regeneration or functional recovery, leaving clinical needs in a longstanding state of "no available treatment."
