On December 29, Bock Medical Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., a leading pioneer in digital healthcare in China, and Runer Health, a well-known brand for children's eye health management in China, officially became strategic partners. They will focus on comprehensive visual training solutions for children and adolescents, integrating Bock Medical’s mature digital visual training service system into Runer Health’s business framework. This collaboration aims to transform this critical intervention method, which has long relied on experience and lacked standardized approaches, into a more regulated, assessable, and replicable solution.

China’s children and adolescents’ visual health is deepening from "preventing myopia" to "managing function." Bock Medical Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. and Runer Health are integrating their respective business strengths: the former relies on its self-developed standardized technology platform to deliver a complete business model from training to management; the latter, based on clinical experience and service networks, is responsible for solution implementation, user experience optimization, and long-term follow-up. Together, they will jointly develop and validate a comprehensive, trainable, replicable, and regulatable intervention solution for children's visual function, centered on vision training.

On-site, Bock Medical Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. and Runer Health announced that they will expand interventions from single refractive screening to multi-dimensional indicators such as eye position, accommodation, convergence, and stereopsis. With standardized visual training as the key engine, they aim to create a closed-loop visual health service system encompassing "precise screening—intelligent assessment—personalized intervention—dynamic follow-up," truly achieving an experience upgrade from "seeing clearly" to "seeing well" and providing full-cycle protection.

"Traditional, single-mode refractive correction can hardly meet family needs. Children's visual health is a systematic project that requires more precise diagnosis, more scientific training, and more continuous intervention." Luo Tong, CEO of Runer Health, emphasized in his speech that the early identification and scientific intervention of visual function problems are not only medical topics but also crucial support for the comprehensive development of children and adolescents. He pointed out that only by combining clinical insights with digital and standardized interventions can we achieve a paradigm shift from passive response to proactive management.

Chen Hang, head of Bock Medical, frankly admitted: "Visual function training has long faced problems such as non-unified standards, scattered pathways, and difficulty in quantifying efficacy." To this end, Bock Medical has joined forces with Runer Health to launch a business co-construction system that deeply integrates national policy guidance, creating a full-cycle service loop from screening to follow-up visits. This initiative aims to transform visual health services from experience-driven to evidence-based, systematic, and accessible new paradigms.

At the press conference, Dr. Zheng Ke, Deputy Chief Physician of the Eye, Ear, Nose and Throat Hospital of Fudan University, shared scientific knowledge on common visual function problems and training concepts.

It is reported that the standardized visual function management service reached in this cooperation will be fully implemented in Shanghai first. Runer Health stores in various districts can conveniently experience this intelligent and gamified standardized visual training service. This collaboration also means that more children with visual function issues who have long been unidentified are expected to have the opportunity for early detection, precise evaluation, and systematic training close to home. Scientific visual function screening and intervention will become a more widespread and accessible part of children's eye health management.
