Dr. Xiang Yu holds a Ph.D. from Yale University and a bachelor's degree from Peking University. His career began at McKinsey & Company, where he gained a background in strategic consulting within the healthcare industry. Later, during his time at Novartis, he served as the Director of Strategy at the global headquarters and held leadership roles in multiple divisions in the China region, achieving significant accomplishments in building business teams, launching new products, and driving scaled growth.

He also served as the General Manager of Abbott's Diabetes Care business in Greater China and Emerging Asia, successfully driving significant growth and profitability in the Chinese market. He later joined the rare disease innovative drug company, Langyu Group.CEO, taking full leadership in the company's strategy, R&D, and commercialization, achieving key milestones in the launch of new rare disease drugs and their inclusion in medical insurance.

Before joining BRL Medicine, Dr. Yu Xiang served as a senior executive at Santen Pharmaceutical (China).President of Santen Pharmaceutical (China) Co.
