Menovo's Wholly-Owned Subsidiary Receives Drug Registration Certificate for Riociguat Tablets

Gelonghui January 12 |Menovo(Maintenance of Rights)(603538.SH) announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Menovo Tiankang, has received the "Drug Registration Certificate" for Riociguat Tablets issued by the National Medical Products Administration. The drug is indicated for chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension and arterial pulmonary hypertension. Its mechanism of action is as a soluble guanylate cyclase (sGC) activator, which dilates blood vessels by stimulating the NO-sGC-cGMP pathway. As of the announcement date, three companies in China have been approved, including Qilu Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., Jiangsu Huayang Pharmaceutical, and Menovo Tiankang. Global sales of Riociguat Tablets in 2024 were $494,159,500, with sales in China reaching $10,376,300. Obtaining the registration certificate signifies that Menovo Tiankang has gained the qualification to produce and sell the drug in the Chinese market, enhancing the market competitiveness of the company's products. However, future sales may be affected by various uncertain factors such as policy changes, market demand, and competition from similar drugs.
