At the recent 2026 JPM conference, Kyung-Ah Kim, President and CEO of Samsung Bioepis Holdings, stated: "2026 is a landmark year for us as we enter a new chapter in our company’s growth. We are announcing the addition of six new candidate drugs to our biosimilar pipeline, including vedolizumab and dupilumab. We are steadily progressing toward our goal of having a pipeline that includes 20 biosimilars by 2030. Additionally, the first novel therapeutic candidate drug independently developed by Samsung Bioepis has received Investigational New Drug (IND) approval, and we plan to advance the related clinical program this year. Beyond biosimilars, we will further expand our product portfolio and continue investing in the research and development of Antibody-Drug Conjugates (ADCs), leveraging our innovative R&D platform to provide viable treatment options for patients with unmet medical needs."


PharmaCircleData show: currentlySBE303 is the first novel ADC developed by Samsung Bioepis, targeting Nectin-4.

This adhesion protein is specifically expressed in various tumor cells such as urothelial carcinoma, lung cancer, and breast cancer. It has already entered Phase I clinical trials in the United States. Aiming to demonstrate deep cooperation with other multinational pharmaceutical companies in the future.
