As a leading company in the field of biomanufacturing, Juventas is about to launch clinical trials for a drug developed using new rapid cell preparation technology.
This new drug is used to treat autoimmune hemolytic anemia. It is the first targeted cell therapy developed by Juventas using its self-developed rapid preparation technology. Traditional targeted therapies require collecting blood from patients, extracting immune cells, sending them to a lab for in vitro expansion, and then infusing them back into the patient. The new technology eliminates the need for in vitro expansion, directly infusing the targeted cells into the body after safety testing, allowing for natural expansion. Since these are autologous cells, the expansion process does not cause rejection, ensuring safety.
Thanks to this technology, the R&D cost of drugs has also been reduced, and currently, clinical trials have officially started.
