Recently, Guoke Mingyao (Shandong) Medical Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Guoke Mingyao" or "the Company") announced the completion of its angel round financing. This round of financing was jointly invested by Yantai Lüpu Technology Co., Ltd. (a subsidiary of Beijing Lüpu Technology Co., Ltd.) and Yantai University Asset Management Co., Ltd.
Guo Ke Mingyao is a national technology-based small and medium-sized enterprise with stem cell and immune cell technology as its core research and development direction. It brings together scientific research and industry resources from institutions such as the Chinese Academy of Sciences, well-known publicly listed pharmaceutical companies, and Zhejiang University. The company has mastered several core technologies with independent intellectual property rights, including the preparation processes for pet mesenchymal stem cells and natural killer cells (NK cells), and has established a cell therapy workshop that meets GMP standards. Currently, the company has formed a high-level R&D team consisting of five PhDs and multiple overseas returnee experts, committed to advancing cell technology from laboratory research to industrialization and clinical applications.On one hand, Guoke Mingyao is actively expanding into the pet healthcare sector, developing novel cell-based therapies for common diseases in elderly pets that currently lack effective treatments. On the other hand, the company is also broadening its human cell therapy product pipeline, especially represented by the use of human iPSC-derived islet-like cells for treating severe diabetes, showcasing the company’s forward-looking layout in addressing major human diseases.
It is worth mentioning that on September 28, 2025, the "Stem Cell and Regenerative Medicine Concept Validation Center," jointly established by Guoke Mingyao and Yantai University, was officially inaugurated. Led by Yantai University, with the China Veterinary Drug Association serving as the guiding unit, the center was co-built in collaboration with Shandong (Yantai) Sino-Japan Industrial Technology Research Institute, GreenPark (Beijing) Technology Co., Ltd., and Guoke Mingyao. It aims to create an integrated collaborative innovation platform for "industry-academia-research-medicine-application" to accelerate the transformation and implementation of stem cell and regenerative medicine scientific and technological achievements.
The successful completion of this financing marks a crucial step for Guo Ke Ming Yao in the cell therapy sector.
