Zhaoke Ophthalmology-B (06622.HK) Rises Over 5% as Partner's Presbyopia Drug YUVEZZI Receives FDA Approval

According to the Zhisheng Finance APP, MegaVision Ophthalmology-B (06622) rose over 5% again. As of press time, it increased by 5.28%, trading at HK$3.79, with a turnover of HK$6.119 million.

On the news front, on the evening of January 29, Megadrug Ophthalmology announced that its partner, Tenpoint Therapeutics, Ltd., has received regulatory approval from the U.S. FDA for the commercialization of Carbachol and Brimonidine Tartrate Eye Drops (2.75%/0.1%). This eye drop was known as BRIMOCHOL™ PF during clinical trials and will be marketed in the U.S. under the commercial name YUVEZZI™ as an innovative drug for the treatment of presbyopia.

The announcement stated that, for Tenpoint Therapeutics, this approval serves as a strong catalyst before the formulation of its commercialization strategy. The company has established a partnership network for BRIMOCHOL™ PF, which currently includes eight commercial partners across the Asia-Pacific region (including South Korea, Australia, New Zealand, Thailand, Indonesia, Taiwan/Hong Kong/Macau, Singapore, and Vietnam) and the Middle East. With the FDA's approval, Tenpoint Therapeutics anticipates accelerating the drug’s market launch, marking a significant global milestone.
