Recently, Imbioray (Hangzhou) Biopharmaceutical Co., Ltd. ("Imbioray") has completed a nearly 200 million yuan B-round financing, led by Beijing Deep Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd., with notable entrepreneur Shen Yousheng, Hainan Yuque Investment Co., Ltd., and Hangzhou Xin'er Technology Co., Ltd. participating as co-investors.
The successful completion of this round of financing represents not only the capital market's high recognition of Imbioray's core technical strength and future development potential, but also injects strong momentum into its continued efforts in the innovative cell therapy sector. This will help the company accelerate the industrialization process of its core products and seize the opportunity for industry leadership.
According to Tianyancha, Imbioray was founded in March 2014, with its headquarters located in Hangzhou, China. It is an innovative biopharmaceutical company that is globally leading in the development and application of off-the-shelf NK cell immunotherapy and is currently in the clinical stage.
Since its Pre-A round of financing, Imbioray has undergone four technological iterations, achieving the largest-scale NK cell culture with international standards and the most advanced manufacturing process (100L). Based on four proprietary technology platforms (the raNK large-scale NK cell culture platform, the tiNKTM immune-trained NK cell platform, the CAR-raNKTM unique CAR introduction platform, and the ANKERTM antibody-directed NK connector platform), it has achieved dual breakthroughs in product technology and manufacturing processes. Using its self-developed antibody-conjugated NK cell platform technology, Imbioray has developed more than 10 globally competitive, first-in-class (FIC) original product pipelines.
Among them, IBR854, the world's first CAR-NK cell therapy targeting the 5T4 site for the treatment of advanced solid tumors, is about to enter Phase II clinical trials. IBR733, the world’s first and fastest-progressing CAR-NK cell therapy targeting CD33-CLL1 dual sites for the treatment of acute myeloid leukemia, has entered the third dosing cohort stage of Phase I clinical trials. IBR822, the world’s first CAR-NK cell therapy targeting Trop-2 for the treatment of advanced solid tumors, has entered Phase I clinical trials. The domesticated NK cell therapy IBR900 received implied permission for clinical trials from the CDE in September 2024.
