Biocytogen Received $77 Million In Series D Financing

According to PE Daily, Biocytogen just received around 77 million dollars in Series D financing. This round of financing was led by China Life and SDIC Venture, the funds will be used to expand market share, improve products and to build a production base.

 

Biocytogen was founded in 2008, the company's services include gene editing animal customization services, disease animal model reproduction and supply, PK/PD preclinical services and antibody-drug development services. Biocytogen has subsidiaries in Beijing, Shanghai, Jiangsu, Boston and few other places.

 

"We insist on investing a considerable proportion of sales revenue each year in research and development. In recent years, we have submitted more than 100 invention patent applications each year. All animal models we provide to our customers have independent intellectual property rights," founder of Biocytogen Dr. Yuelei Shen said.
