Our Staff Reporter (Reporter Wan Hong) Precise connection, collaborative innovation. Recently, the medical device special session of the "Firefly Plan" innovation achievement series对接会 hosted by Tianjin Economic-Technological Development Area (TEDA) was held. Universities, research institutes, medical institutions, technology enterprises, investment and service organizations gathered together to precisely connect the entire chain of "industry-university-research-application-finance" in the medical device field, promoting the acceleration of scientific and technological innovation achievements from "laboratory" to "production line".
Tianjin Economic-Technological Development Area (TEDA) boasts a solid industrial foundation and an innovative ecosystem, and is striving to build a highland for the biopharmaceuticals industry. As the medical device industry moves towards high-end, intelligent, and clustered development, many enterprises hope to closely integrate the research advantages, clinical resources, and industrial demands in the field of medical devices.
"We have brought our independently developed artificial lens. Previously, we have been cooperating with multiple hospitals. This time, we hope to further connect at the conference and promote product transformation based on clinical pain points." Tianjin Century Healthcare Biomedical Engineering Co., Ltd.Kangtai BioLiu Chengjia, Director of the Investment and Financing Department of Tianjin Century Healthcare Biomedical Engineering Co., Ltd., said.
Meng Chunmei, the R&D Project Manager of Hua Rong Ke Chuang Biotechnology (Tian Jin) Co., Ltd., told reporters: "Our self-developed products can be used for nerve injury repair after trauma. Currently, we are preparing for the development of the second-generation products. By attending this conference, on one hand, we hope to see if there are matching research projects from universities and scientific research institutes that can help improve the functionality of our second-generation products; on the other hand, we hope to connect with suitable hospitals to carry out late-stage clinical validation of our products."
Li Weizhuo, Deputy Director of the Science and Technology Innovation Bureau of Tianjin Economic-Technological Development Area (TEDA), stated that moving forward, TEDA will continue to deepen the "Firefly Alliance" mechanism, organize more specialized matchmaking events in niche fields, and consistently foster a top-tier innovation ecosystem. This will help promote the transformation of more scientific and technological achievements into practical applications, yielding fruitful results and building a strong technological engine for high-quality development.
