Yifan Cheng, Master of Toxicology and Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics (in progress), has over 15 years of hands-on experience across the entire pharmaceutical R&D chain. He holds authoritative qualifications such as Chinese Toxicologist, American DABT, AIGC Senior Trainer, and GCP, and is proficient in pharmacokinetic modeling, data statistics, and non-clinical safety evaluation. He has led the successful IND approval of 8 Class 1 new drugs and multiple improved new drugs, advancing several molecules to the NDA stage, covering core areas such as autoimmune diseases, metabolism, hepatitis B, and oncology. He successfully promoted the first epigenetic regulation tool in China to receive FDA IND approval and was deeply involved in cross-border BD cooperation and large-scale financing support. Skilled in full-cycle R&D management from PCC to NDA, CRO control, and clinical translation, he integrates top professional technology with AI-enabled advantages and is a senior expert in pharmaceutical translational medicine and new drug applications.

About CBA
Chinese American Biopharmaceutical Society(Chinese Biopharmaceutical Association-USA, abbreviated as CBA) was founded in 1995 and is the largest Chinese-American professional association in the biopharmaceutical industry in the United States.
The primary mission of CBA is to serve as a bridge for cooperation between the United States and China in the biopharmaceutical field, promote comprehensive exchanges among professionals in the pharmaceutical industry of both countries, and provide a favorable environment for the development and collaboration of biopharmaceutical companies and research institutions.
CBA members come from a diverse range of backgrounds, including emerging technology companies in the U.S. and China, multinational pharmaceutical corporations, universities, research institutions, government medical review departments, various support funds for research or industrial development, as well as professional organizations specializing in law and intellectual property. Over 80% of CBA members hold a Ph.D.
CBA has a good reputation internationally, with members遍布世界各地, including China, the United States, Europe, Canada, Australia, Singapore, and Japan. Currently, there are more than 10,000 individual members and over 1,000 corporate members.
CBA has a close relationship with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Many of its presidents have worked at the FDA and are familiar with international biopharmaceutical registration strategies and other regulations. CBA also maintains strong ties with the University of Maryland, Johns Hopkins University, and its School of Medicine. Additionally, Jiangsu Province and Maryland State share a sister-state relationship.
