Notably, in less than half a year,IVACTA Biotechnology has completed includingAngel Round Financing,Three rounds of financing, including Series A and Series A+ rounds, with a total financing amount exceeding 400 million RMB.

The successive completion of multiple rounds of financing, as well as from around the globeThe recognition from industrial capital and biotechnology professional investors fullyHighlights IVACTA BiotechnologyInnovationThe Development Potential of In Vivo CAR-T Technology.

In Vivo CAR-T Newcomer

IVACTA Biotechnology was founded on June 25, 2025, as a spin-off of the in vivo CAR-T platform from Beijing Gracell Biomedicines Co., Ltd. ("Gracell Bio"). IVACTA Biotechnology is developing an in vivo CAR-T pipeline based on a targeted LNP delivery system, focusing on bringing revolutionary treatments to hematological malignancies and autoimmune diseases.

It is worth noting that,IVACTA Biotechnology's Core PipelineGT801 has alreadyEntering Clinical, in progressInvestigator-Initiated Trial (IIT study).

GT801 is an innovative anti-CD19 in vivo CAR product that delivers optimized mRNA through T cell-targeting LNPs. This platform integrates the CLAMP technology co-developed by Grail Bio and IVACTA Biotechnology, enabling precise and quantitative conjugation of T cell-targeting VHH antibodies with LNPs. It enhances targeting efficiency while avoiding non-specific uptake, thereby promoting specific and high-efficiency CAR expression and maximizing the functionality of CAR-T cells generated in vivo.

GT801 aims to directly generate potent and long-lasting CAR-T cells within patients, supporting repeated dosing to achieve a clinical solution that is low-cost, highly effective, and easy to use, breaking through the commercialization bottleneck of high cost and long cycle associated with ex vivo cell manufacturing processes.

December 2025,IVACTA Biotechnology inASH 2025Presented in the form of an oral reportGT801Preliminary Human Data from Project IIT Study, Data Shows:

Clinical manifestations showed overall good tolerance.High CAR expression levels were observed in peripheral blood T cells, with persistent and reproducible CAR-T expansion noted after each dosing. No CAR expression was detected in peripheral blood mononuclear cells, indicating no off-target delivery risk for GT801. This confirms that the T-LNP delivery platform can sufficiently enhance targeting efficiency while avoiding non-specific uptake.

GT801 exhibited rapid and efficient pharmacokinetics, effectively depleting B cells in peripheral blood and various tissues. Bone marrow and lymph node biopsies from two patients showed effective B cell clearance. Summary

In fact, since the end of 2024, in vivo CAR-T has begun to attract attention from global pharmaceutical giants.

To date,Lilly, BMS, AbbVie, AstraZeneca, and Gilead have all completed acquisitions of in vivo CAR-T companies, with Lilly notably acquiring two such companies, covering the two major technological routes of in vivo CAR-T.

Moreover, based on the wave of mergers and acquisitions among large pharmaceutical companies, analysts believe that there is now a severe shortage of high-quality in vivo CAR-T assets with acquisition value.

And the innovative in vivo CAR-T from China is likely to be the next BD hotspot.
