Dolutegravir sodium belongs to the second-generation HIV integrase inhibitor (INSTI). Data show that the drug can block HIV replication by preventing viral DNA from integrating into the genetic material of human immune cells. This component has been jointly recommended as a first-line preferred medication by the World Health Organization (WHO), relevant treatment guidelines in China and the United States, and is one of the core drugs in the current antiretroviral therapy (ART) system.

Compared with traditional antiviral drugs, dolutegravir sodium tablets have the characteristics of faster onset and relatively fewer drug interactions in clinical applications. They are often used in combination with other antiviral drugs to construct standard treatment regimens, suitable for both treatment-naïve and some treatment-experienced patient populations, helping to improve long-term treatment adherence and standardization. Tailingqi® offers a more economical price option while achieving clinical equivalence, providing practical support for the sustained implementation of treatment plans.

In recent years, China's AIDS prevention and treatment have continued to make positive progress. The diagnosis rate of infected individuals has been increasing, with treatment coverage and viral suppression rates reaching over 95%. However, challenges such as long-term medication adherence, disparities in the accessibility of quality drugs across different regions, and the potential threat of drug resistance remain key bottlenecks constraining further improvement in treatment quality. In this process, enabling patients to access more effective, convenient, and affordable drugs has become an important support for continuously upgrading the quality of treatment.

In terms of improving drug accessibility, Qilu Pharmaceutical has long been committed to the generic development of clinically urgent drugs. To date, Qilu Pharmaceutical has successfully obtained approval for nine anti-HIV drugs, establishing a relatively complete product portfolio. In September 2024, Qilu Pharmaceutical signed a strategic cooperation agreement with AliHealth. The two parties agreed to comprehensively launch digital health service cooperation in areas such as online retail, category expansion, new drug launches, and disease education. The debut of Telinqi® on AliHealth marks the substantive implementation of the aforementioned collaboration.

AliHealth, as the "New Specialty Drug Launch Platform," relies on its nationwide distribution network and online pharmaceutical service team to provide comprehensive support for patients with chronic conditions like HIV and infectious diseases—from online consultation to long-term medication management—making high-quality medicines more accessible to end users.
