The 29th Annual Meeting of the American Society of Gene & Cell Therapy (ASGCT 2026) will be held in Boston, USA, from May 11 to 15, 2026. At this academic conference, Fosun Pharma's subsidiary, Fosun Kite Biotechnology Co., Ltd., and Ruijin Hospital Affiliated with Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine will present the latest advancements in five key studies. Two innovative products from Fosun Kite’s pipeline, FKC118 (enhanced CD19/CD20 CAR-T) and FKC289 (BCMA/CD19 CAR-T manufactured using the innovative Fosunova-T platform), show "first-in-class" or "best-in-class" potential, focusing on cutting-edge treatment exploration in B-cell malignancies and membranous nephropathy. Ruijin Hospital Affiliated with Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine further enhances the benefits of CD19 CAR-T cell therapy in patients with large B-cell lymphoma through research into TP53 mutations and bridging therapies.

Among them, Professor Liu Zhihong, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, is leading the FKC289 study in the field of membranous nephropathy (MN). Professor Zhao Weili, Vice President of Ruijin Hospital affiliated with Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine and Director of the Shanghai Institute of Hematology, is leading a total of four studies in the field of large B-cell lymphoma, further highlighting the innovative strength of Chinese experts.

FKC118 (Enhanced CD19/CD20 CAR-T)

FKC118 is an enhanced dual-target autologous CAR-T product targeting CD19 and CD20. The dual-target CAR structure design effectively reduces the risk of recurrence caused by antigen escape, while the innovative and optimized enhanced components further improve the expansion and persistence of T cells in vivo, alleviating the risk of recurrence due to reduced T cell function, thereby expecting to bring more durable and effective clinical benefits.

FKC289(BCMA/CD19 CAR-T)

FKC289 is a dual-target autologous CAR-T product manufactured using the innovative Fosunova-T platform, targeting both BCMA and CD19. By simultaneously targeting surface antigens BCMA and CD19, it achieves deep depletion of pathogenic plasma cells and/or B cells, thereby treating plasma cell disorders and/or B cell-mediated autoimmune diseases. FKC289 is applicable in primary light chain amyloidosis (ALA),PrimaryMembranous Nephropathy (MN)and other diseases achieve deep and sustained remission, it is expected to become a more efficient and safer standardized solution.

Currently, FKC289 has received clinical trial approval from the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) to conduct Phase I/II clinical studies for this product, respectively forRelapsed/Refractory Primary Membranous Nephropathy(R/R MN) and relapsed/refractory primary light chain amyloidosis (R/R ALA). Patient enrollment is ongoing.
