H-shares Move: Innovent Biologics (01801) Rises Over 4% as siRNA Hypertension Drug Co-developed with Sanegene Bio Receives IND Approval

According to the Zhitong Finance APP, Innovent Bio (01801) rose more than 4%. As of press time, it increased by 4.43%, trading at HK$37.70, with a turnover of HK$74.9836 million.

On the news front, on July 9, SANEGENEBIO, a portfolio company of Northern Light Venture Capital, announced that the clinical trial application for SGB-3908 injection, a small nucleic acid (siRNA) drug for the treatment of hypertension co-developed with INNOVENT BIO, has received tacit approval from the Center for Drug Evaluation (CDE) of the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) (acceptance number: CXHL2400426). This marks the third siRNA drug for which SANEGENEBIO has applied to conduct clinical trials in China, following SGB-3403 injection and SGB-9768 injection.

In addition, BOC International issued a research report pointing out that Innovent Bio recently disclosed positive data on differentiated assets, including the GLORY-1 Phase III study results of Mastyde peptide and preliminary data on potential first-in-class new molecular type assets such as IBI343 and IBI363. In addition, the company's two assets, IBI112 and IBI311, both have considerable market potential and are approaching or have entered the new drug marketing review stage respectively.
