# Johnson & Johnson Veteran Returns
Zhou Mintao graduated from the Biochemistry program at Fudan University in 1990, joined Johnson & Johnson in 1992, and served the Chinese market for over a decade. From 2007 to 2009, he served as the General Manager of Johnson & Johnson Singapore.

During his nearly 30-year tenure at Johnson & Johnson, Zhou Mintao has been a widely respected leader.
He started as a sales representative in Johnson & Johnson's consumer products business, gradually took on more responsibilities, and was sent to the UK to participate in the International Development Program. He later became the General Manager of Johnson & Johnson's consumer products business in Singapore. After returning to China, Edward led the company’s acquisition of Dabao and successfully integrated it into Johnson & Johnson. In the following three years, he served as the General Manager of Johnson & Johnson's consumer products business in China.
In 2015, Edward joined Johnson & Johnson Medical (China) Ltd., serving as the Vice President of Surgical Business for Ethicon Division, and in 2016, he became the General Manager of Ethicon Division in China.During this period, he promoted continuous business innovation, accelerated market penetration, optimized product portfolios, drove digital transformation, and facilitated the localized smart manufacturing of advanced surgical products at the Suzhou Industrial Park. Over his seven-year tenure, he led the team to achieve an annual compound growth rate of 15%.
At the end of 2021, Zhou Mintao left Johnson & Johnson Medical and joined Danaher as President of China Biotechnology Platform and President of Cytiva Greater China., and subsequently led the team to complete the integration of the company with Pall Life Sciences.
On February 21, 2024, Zhou Mintao bid farewell to Danaher employees via an internal email: After careful consideration, he decided to temporarily step away from over three decades of full-time career to devote more time and energy to family and personal interests.
Now, Zhou Mintao has returned to Johnson & Johnson, serving as the President of Johnson & Johnson Medical Technology in China.
