Developer of Innovative Drug R&D Platform
Former SAP Global Vice President Mr. Andy Deng (Deng Yongfu) Joins BioMap as President of BioMap, Taking Full Responsibility for the Strategy, Operations, and Expansion of BioMap's Intelligent Life Sciences Business
Mr. Deng Yongfu has accumulated over 20 years of extensive experience in enterprise management and software commercialization. Before joining BioMap, he held key positions in well-known companies such as SAP and Kingdee Software Group. During his 16-year tenure at SAP, he grew from a front-line account manager and sales director to become the Vice President of China and later the Global Vice President. As a core leader of SAP China, he successfully promoted significant growth for SAP in industries such as life sciences, consumer goods, retail, and real estate. He created several benchmark cases of digital transformation for leading enterprises in various industries, leading SAP to maintain its position as an industry leader in the Chinese market for many consecutive years. During his time at Kingdee Software Group, as the Vice President of Kingdee and General Manager of the Large Enterprise Business Unit, Mr. Deng Yongfu was fully responsible for managing Kingdee's large enterprise business. He led the strategic transformation and upgrading of the business, successfully expanding and implementing multiple commercial cases with Fortune 500 companies. Under his leadership, the business achieved rapid growth for two consecutive years, making significant contributions to Kingdee's business development in this field.

The joining of Mr. Deng Yongfu also marks a new phase in the commercialization of BioMap. As a global leader in large-scale life science models, BioMap has witnessed the industry's transformative changes over the past three years: from leading global pharmaceutical companies being the first to embrace large AI models, to cutting-edge technical teams showing great enthusiasm for developing AI models, and then to the entire life sciences industry entering a rapid development stage of AI-driven intelligence. Currently, the demand for AI technology in China is significantly increasing in areas such as drug discovery, life health, biomanufacturing, education, and scientific research—especially for advanced AI models that can be trained using less data without relying on underlying AI technical experts, and that can optimize enterprises' R&D, experimentation, and production processes. At the same time, these demands are accelerating the leapfrog development of AI-enabled life sciences in China. Mr. Deng Yongfu will leverage his extensive industry experience and business insights to help BioMap build an intelligent business strategy for life sciences based on the xTrimo large model platform, providing core products and supporting solutions related to AI models for customers in China, and advancing their intelligent transformation.
Mr. Deng Yongfu said:"As a witness and participant in the development of China's IT industry and digital innovation, I am honored to join BioMap. Standing at the new starting point where AI meets life sciences, I look forward to working with the team to deepen the innovative commercial applications of AI in life sciences. We will bring our large AI life science models and successful customer service experiences to more Chinese companies, jointly promoting innovation and development in the field of life sciences."
Mr. Liu Wei, Co-founder and CEO of BioMap, stated:“The joining of Mr. Deng Yongfu willInject new momentum into BioMap's development in China and its expansion in the broader life sciences field. Mr. Deng Yongfu will work alongside BioMap International President Per Greisen to design corresponding AI models, systems, and AI molecular design solutions tailored to the different needs of domestic and international clients based on the company’s large model platform. Together, they will accelerate the application of the company’s core technologies for customers, supporting their intelligent transformation.”
BioMap is a pioneer in large foundational models for global life sciences. The xTrimo large model platform developed by the company, as the world's first cross-modal biolinguistic large model with hundreds of billions of parameters, has achieved industry-leading results in hundreds of life science tasks and provides the industry with efficient AI model construction capabilities. BioMap's AIGP (AI Generated Protein) generative design capability, based on AI models, has already enabled the design of novel non-natural proteins in multiple cutting-edge drug discovery and synthetic biology fields. Currently, BioMap serves over two hundred users globally, including representative enterprises and research institutions in areas such as international pharmaceutical companies, leading CDMOs, innovative drugs, synthetic biology, and green technology.
