According to Fierce Biotech, Johnson & Johnson will release a candidate product in its second-quarter earnings report.Product ADX71149（JNJ-40411813）Remove from the pipeline under research.
ADX71149 is a selective positive allosteric modulator (PAM) of the metabotropic glutamate 2 (mGlu2) receptor. In the case of agonist-induced activation, positive allosteric modulation of the mGlu2 receptor may lead to normalization of excessive glutamate release during seizures.

Under the research collaboration and license agreement, Addex granted Johnson & Johnson an exclusive global license to develop and commercialize mGlu2 PAM compounds. Addex is eligible to receive up to €109 million in success-based development and regulatory milestone payments. Additionally, based on the net sales of the compounds, Addex is also eligible to receive low double-digit royalties.
