The proceeds from this round of financing will be mainly used to support Rona Therapeutics in further exploration and expansion in the field of nucleic acid drug research and development, to advance the company’s product development process, and to provide financial support for future commercialization plans.
 
Data shows that Rona Therapeutics is a high-tech enterprise focusing on the research and development of nucleic acid drugs. The company is committed to researching, developing, and producing nucleic acid drugs targeting diseases in the fields of metabolism, central nervous system, ophthalmology, and oncology. It is reported that Rona Therapeutics is advancing siRNA pipeline projects generated based on a next-generation siRNA platform, and the company's first RN0191 pipeline has completed Phase I clinical studies in Australia and China.
 
On July 15, AusperBio (Hangzhou Haobo Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. and AusperBio Therapeutics, Inc.) announced the completion of a $37 million Series A financing round. This round was led by InnoPinnacle Fund with additional investments from Yuan BioVentures, H&Q China Healthcare Capital, Qiming Venture Partners, and Genesis Capital.
 
The funds from this round of financing will be mainly used to rapidly advance the Phase II clinical trial of AusperBio's potential cornerstone drug for hepatitis B cure, AHB-137, exploration of combination therapy regimens, and a series of development work including CMC production. Meanwhile, the financing will also be utilized to expand the proprietary Med-Oligo™ technology platform and its product pipeline.

It is reported that BAO PHARMA has built three large-scale industrial platforms for mammalian cells, yeast cells, and E. coli recombinant expression, using synthetic biology technology with high technical barriers to "modify chassis cells" for the scaled production of protein drugs.
 
Internationally, Draupnir Bio, a biotechnology company dedicated to developing oral small-molecule degraders, announced the completion of a €12 million seed equity financing round. The proceeds will be used to further develop its preclinical pipeline of oral small-molecule protein degraders. NGM Biopharmaceuticals announced the completion of a $122 million Series A financing round to initiate the registration trial for aldafermin (an engineered FGF19 analog) for the treatment of primary sclerosing cholangitis (PSC) and to complete the Phase 2 trial of NGM120 (a GDF15/GFRAL antagonist) for the treatment of hyperemesis gravidarum. Ancilia Biosciences, a biotechnology company utilizing CRISPR technology to develop bacterial therapies and products with immunity to destructive viruses, announced the completion of a $4.2 million financing round.
