According to PEdaily.cn, Suzhou Kintor Pharmaceuticals (“Kintor”) announced that it has closed a $45M Series D financing round led by Shanghai Free Trade Zoon Equity Fund (FTZ Fund), with participation from Huajin Capital, Yicheng Hongtai Investment, CCB International.
The proceeds of the round will be used to develop innovative drugs, especially the late-stage clinical development of two kinds of innovative drugs in China and the United States. The company also plans to use the capital to speed up the R&D of innovative proteolysis targeting chimeras (PROTAC) and c-Myc inhibitors and to continue to build the innovative pharmaceutical industrialization in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province.
Founded in March 2009, Kintor was listed on Chinese New Third Board in September 2016. It specializes in the research and development of prostate, breast and liver cancer drugs.
Kintor focuses on prostate cancer, breast cancer, and liver cancer which account for more than 50% of the global cancer population and lack of effective treatment methods. The company has a product line built on proprietary R&D and licensing arrangements, aiming to provide the best treatment plans for huge unmet patient needs.
