Johnson & Johnson announced yesterday,Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer Peter Fasolo Plans to Retire.After nearly 20 years at Johnson & Johnson, Peter Fasolo plans to retire by the end of this year. Additionally, Johnson & Johnson Medical (China) Ltd. recently announced internally,Kevin Chen (Chu-Hui Chen), General Manager of Johnson & Johnson Medical Technology China’s Cardiovascular and Professional Solutions Division, and Head of External Affairs and Market Access, has submitted his resignation to the company to pursue external development opportunities.
Johnson & Johnson Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer Peter Fasolo Plans to Retire.The company has selected Kristen Mulholland to succeed him, effective from October 1. Fasolo and Mulholland will collaborate during a transition period until Fasolo officially retires.
In 2004, Fasolo joined Johnson & Johnson as the Global Vice President of Human Resources for the Medical Technology sector. Before becoming the Chief Human Resources Officer and a member of the Executive Committee in 2010, he also served as the Chief Talent Officer.

His key focuses during his tenure included enhancing the company's diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts, as well as expanding employee benefits and policies. The company stated that he led initiatives to increase paid leave for military service, parenting, bereavement, volunteering, and mental health, among others.

Mulholland has led corporate HR services, including performance and development as well as global total rewards.
Since joining Johnson & Johnson in 2005, Mulholland has held various HR leadership roles across different functions and businesses. She also played a key role in the spin-off of Kenvue's consumer business.

During the transition period, Edward Zhou will temporarily oversee the management of the Cardiovascular and Specialty Solutions division as well as the External Affairs and Market Access departments.
Chen Chuhui joined Johnson & Johnson in 2009, holding management positions in the Ethicon ASP division, Endo division’s ultrasonic scalpel business, Gynecare division, and Mentor division. After returning to Johnson & Johnson in 2015, he also took on important leadership roles such as head of channel management, strategic clients, operations, and professional education.
