Flagship Pioneering today announced a further acceleration of its strategic collaboration with Pfizer, Inc. Quotient Therapeutics, a company founded by Flagship, will collaborate with Pfizer on two research programs.Both parties will analyze somatic mutations occurring in patient tissues to guide the discovery and development of potential transformative therapies for cardiovascular and kidney diseases.

Flagship’s drug discovery and development division, Pioneering Medicines, is leading the strategic collaboration with Pfizer, including spearheading the exploration process to rapidly identify potential drug development projects based on Flagship’s diverse biological platforms and models. The agreement with Quotient follows the latest project initiated after Flagship announced a strategic partnership with Pfizer in July 2023.
